Well, I have started two more scarves, just to use up some yarn and to just have something around to work on....like I don't have enough to do. Anyhow even though I have a yarn stash out of this world I have this desire to go to AC Moore to get that silly striped yarn from Red Heart....for another scarf.

I see that June 9th is Knit-Out day and that some woman from the Newark knitters group are meeting up at Stitches with Style and then going to McGlynn's Pub. I am not sure on what I will be doing, but I thought I would just pass this info on.

Finally working on crocheting this blanket which sadly I started many years ago. A dear old childhood neighbor, who past away last year, taught me this shell stitch. I will hopefully finish this by the time my coworker has her baby shower, which is not for some time, since she has not yet told anyone of the baby!

I am sending in my card to another Soho Publishers contest to win a Spring sweater kit. The drawing is in May, wish me luck.

This is the baby blanket I am currently working on. I am using three colors on this blanket-blue, cream, and sage green. I have to stitch these all up to each other....then yea done. But I just do not have the motivation to get anything done.

This is the baby blanket that I am double crocheting, which I think looks boring. I will have to find a nice edge to crocheting around the blanket to make it look nice.

Well I have been a little productive in my knitting. I started this scarf in February with a gift certificate from Stitches with Style in Newark, De. And a big YEA! I completed the project in one month! I just love the way this scarf looks with my jean jacket. I did have some times when I needed the assistants of my fellow knitting ladies of the Colonial Knitters Guild.
I am now working on finishing up a baby's blanket by knitting 12x12 different color squares to put together. I am also crocheting a baby blue baby's blanket in a double crochet stitch, its boring looking so far . But I will finish it and show pictures later. I need something more fun to work on, maybe I should start my first sweater.

Well my knitting has been set aside while. I have been playing with my camera taking pictures of many different things. My brother who does not allow pictures of him....would let me take pictures of his tattoos-so I shot this side profile quickly. I like it, for some reason. I want to make an Andy Warhol type of color portrait for him.
